DrPetryk20171212Dr. Thomas K. Petryk was born and raised in North Olmsted, Ohio July 10, 1963. After high school, he attended the University of Dayton, where he earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry, a minor in biology and a concentration in history. He then enrolled at Wright State University's School of Medicine, graduating in 1989. He subsequently trained at Grant Medical Center for his family medicine certification and has been board certified in family medicine since 1992.

Dr. Petryk is involved professionally as a partner at MSA and has a medical directorship at Hospice of Central Ohio. He also is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, the Ohio Academy of Family Medicine (for which he is a member of the Advocacy Commission) and the American Medical Director's Association. He has a large nursing home practice and enjoys practicing hospital medicine as well. He is willing to address any and all medical issues with his patients.

Outside of his affection for the practice of medicine, he is the father of four children and has been married to Amy since 1996. He has been a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church since moving to Licking County in 1998. For recreation he enjoys golf (especially with good friends and a cigar), family travel, history, gardening, hunting, shooting guns of all kinds and is a lifelong Cleveland sports fan.
