Dr. Alex Campolo was born and raised in Newark, Ohio. The son of Dr. Michael Campolo, he realized that his dream was to practice medicine early on. He graduated from Newark Catholic High School and went on to major in Applied Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, and Entomology at the University of Georgia. After graduation, he returned home to attend the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He began his career at MSA Family Medicine straight out of residency with the hope of also getting involved in nursing home care.
In his spare time, he can be found spending time with family, and friends. He also enjoys watching Cleveland and UGA sports, listening to live music, and sipping an occasional beverage on the shores of Buckeye Lake.
